How do I nominate?
Nominations are now closed.
What can people be nominated for?
There are 12 award categories in total which fall into three broad categories:
Employee Categories
Volunteer Categories
Reconciliation Categories

Can I nominate someone from my team?
Yes, you can nominate any employee or volunteer of UnitingCare, or any team of employees or volunteers. No one is off limits, anyone of any level can be nominated.
JUDGING
How do you know the nominations aren’t made up?
Each nomination requires endorsement from the nominee’s leader. A performance and behaviour check will also be completed with our HR team.
How are Finalists decided?
Once the nomination period has closed, all endorsed nominations are put through a careful and rigorous selection process conducted by a panel of senior leadership representatives to produce a short list for each category.
Our Executive Leadership Team then carefully review the shortlisted finalists.
When will Finalists be announced?
In late August, the finalists for each of the 11 award categories will be announced. This is a very exciting stage of our award program where we get to recognise and celebrate the contribution of our inspiring finalists.

Who are the Finalists?
The Finalists are the top three nominees for each award category.
GALA DINNER
Who attends the gala dinner?
Finalists will be invited to a celebratory gala dinner, which will be held at Brisbane City Hall on Friday, 18 October 2024.
This evening is a phenomenal way to pay tribute to the outstanding achievements of this year’s finalists and where the winners for each category will be announced.
The evening will also be live streamed for everyone across the organisation to join in the celebrations virtually.
